7/8/10 Primetime Emmy Nomination!
Dynamic Music Partners is pleased to announce that the "Mayhem of the Music Meister!" episode of "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" has been honored with Primetime Emmy Award Nomination in the category of Oustanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score).  The musical episode, featuring Neil Patrick Harris singing the guest villain role of Music Meister, featured six original songs with music composed by DMP and lyrics by Michael Jelenic and James Tucker.

2/22/10 "Broke Sky" Broadcast Premiere
Award-winning independent feature "Broke Sky" will be premiering on IFC "On Demand" beginning February 24, 2010.  Robert Koehler of Variety calls the Texas-set thriller "An exceptional example of American indie filmmaking...begins on a ghoulishly jaunty note and then audaciously shifts gears into a powerful noir."

2/19/10 AFI "Bad Bunny" Premiere
DMP composed the underscore to director Jon Clark's American Film Institute thesis film, "Bad Bunny."  On Fri., Feb. 26, the film will premiere at the Mark Goodson theater on the AFI campus in Hollywood.  There are two screenings scheduled: one at 7:30, and the following at 8:30.

10/22/09 Musical Premiere, Soundtrack
Dynamic Music Partners is excited to share the news of the premiere of "Mayhem Of The Music Meister!"-a full-blown animated musical episode of Batman: The Brave And The Bold-and the release of an accompanying soundtrack on New Line Records. The episode will premiere on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at 7:30 PM ET/PT on the Cartoon Network (check your TV listings for local times) and the soundtrack will be released the next day on Saturday, Oct. 24, on iTunes and Amazon.com.  Other recent press coverage can be found on TV Guide.com and LATimes.com.

7/27/09 Batman Musical Rave Reviews
On Friday, July 24, Warner Bros. premiered "Mayhem of the Music Meister" to an enthusiastic full house at Comic Con 2009 in San Diego.  Links to some of the reviews can be found on our "Press" tab.

7/19/09 Batman Comic-Con Premiere
Dynamic Music Partners will be at the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 24, for the world premiere of "Mayhem Of The Music Meister!", a musical episode of "Batman: The Brave And The Bold."  This original animated Batman tale spends nearly its entire 23-minute running time singing songs composed by Michael, Lolita and Kristopher with lyrics by writer/producer Michael Jelenic and show creator James Tucker.  Looking forward to seeing you there!

2/3/09 "Dead Letter Award" Score Nom
DMP is pleased to announce that partner Kristopher Carter has received a nomination for Best Score in the "Mail Order Zombie Dead Letter Awards" for his recent horror/adventure film "Dance of the Dead." The Dead Letter Awards honor the best in zombie-genre movies and media, and this year's awards show will take place on February 26, 2009.

12/14/08 "Dangerous Calling" Released
Independent Feature "Dangerous Calling" has been released on DVD.  The psychological thriller, written and directed by brothers Joshua and Jerimiah Daws received an enthusiastic response at its premiere screening at the Rome International Film Festival.  Find out more at the film's website.

10/14/08 "Dance of the Dead" Released
Action/Horror feature "Dance Of The Dead" was released today by Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures and Lion's Gate Home Entertainment.

7/20/08 Teen Titans Tokyo Soundtrack
DMP announces the international release of their soundtrack for "Teen Titans: Trouble In Tokyo" on July 22, 2008. The CD features a full-color booklet with comments from the composers, director/producer Glen Murakami and pictures from the scoring sessions. The soundtrack itself contains almost an hour of music from the underscore of the film and can be ordered from the DMP Webstore (choose the "Current Releases" tab on this site), Amazon and other major retailers as well as La-La Land Records online.

6/19/08 "Broke Sky" LA Screening
Indie feature "Broke Sky" will be screening tonight, June 19, at 6:30 pm in Los Angeles as part of the Cine Gear Expo.  The film is one of three finalists for their production prize award. Tickets to the screening at the Universal Studios Backlot can be purchased here.

4/30/08 DMP Daytime Emmy Nomination
Dynamic Music Partners is pleased to announce they have received an Emmy Nomination in the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards for Legion of Super Heroes. The winners will be announced at the Creative Arts Awards Ceremony on Friday, June 13 in New York. The full list of nominees can be viewed here.

4/22/08 Ben 10 Shatters Records
Cartoon Network's recent facelift and aging of Ben Tennyson, the star of the animated series Ben 10 proved to be a rating bonanza for the cabler. Ben 10: Alien Force's Friday night showing (8 to 9 p.m.) set new records as the most-watched original series premiere in Cartoon Network's history among kids 6-11, boys 6-11, boys 2-11 and households, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The new series beat the original Ben 10 2006 premiere among kids and boys by 40% to 70%.The one-hour premiere also scored as the #1 telecast of the day on all television—both cable and broadcast—with kids 9-14, boys 6-11 boys 2-11 and households. In case you're keeping track, the previous most-watched original series premiere among kids 6-11 was Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, set on Aug. 13, 2004. 2/29/08 "Spectacular Spider-Man" Network Premiere
Sony and Culver Entertainment will debut their newest animated series, "The Spectacular Spider-Man" this Saturday, March. 8, at 10:00 a.m. on the CW Network (check local listings for the air time in your area). DMP provides the underscore for this exciting new take on the classic Marvel character.

2/11/08 "Dance Of The Dead" World Premiere
DMP is pleased to announce "Dance of the Dead" will have its world premiere screening at the 2008 South By Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Showing as part of the "Round Midnight" Series, it will be presented at the Alamo Ritz 1 on Sun., Mar. 9, and Tue., Mar. 11 at 11:59 pm, and also on Fri., Mar. 14 at 11 pm at the Alamo Ritz 2.

1/20/08 "Yesterday Was A Lie" Wins Festival Award
Indie feature "Yesterday Was A Lie" won a Gold Medal for Best Impact Of Music In A Feature Film at the 2008 Park City Film Music Festival in Park City, Utah.

1/8/08 "Yesterday Was A Lie" Premiere
Indie feature "Yesterday Was A Lie" will have its world premiere screening in competition at the 2008 Park City Film Music Festival in Park City, Utah. The Los Angeles premiere will be Thur., Feb. 7, at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills.

11/20/07 ASMAC Luncheon Update
PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE! DMP will be honored on Feb. 13, 2008, by the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers (ASMAC) at the Catalina Bar & Grill (6725 W. Sunset Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90028). Cocktails will be served at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 12 pm, and DMP will speak at 12:45.

10/25/07 "Broke Sky" Wins Memphis Fest
Indie Feature "Broke Sky" wins the Best Narrative Feature award at the 2007 Indie Memphis Festival.

10/17/07 Ritmanis Appears On Film Industry Panel
Lolita Ritmanis appears on the State of the Film Music Industry panel presented by the Society of Composers and Lyricists. Also on the panel are Patrick Williams, George S. Clinton, Christophe Beck, Michael A. Levine, and Stanley Smith.

9/19/07 New DMP Website
The new Flash version of the DMP website has been launched. The new site incorporates a Flash-based interface and will allow users to hear streaming audio examples as well as enjoy a more refined browsing experience. Flash Player 8.0 will be required, although a HTML version of the site is still be available for older browsers.

American Cinematheque will be screening "Broke Sky" on Thursday, Sep. 27 at 7:30 pm at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, CA.

9/19/07 Season 2 Of "Legion" Premieres
The second season of "Legion of Super Heroes" will begin airing this Saturday, Sep. 22 at 11:00 am on the CW Network.

8/1/07 "The Other Side" Released
DMP is pleased to announce the US distribution rights to the crowd-pleasing action/thriller "The Other Side" were acquired this past week by Allumination Filmworks, who will be handling the domestic theatrical and DVD distribution of the movie. Bleiberg Entertainment has acquired the film rights for the movie’s foreign distribution. Allumination Filmworks will release the film in select theatres this year.

The film, directed by James Kerwin, stars Kipleigh Brown ("Enterprise"), Chase Masterson ("Deep Space Nine"), John Newton ("Superboy", "Melrose Place"), and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca).
